    I enjoyed Cosy and Griffin's story in Making Up. Cosy has a bright and fun personality, and she's definitely a free spirit happy to follow her own path in life. She's understandably wary of Griffin initially, considering the rather amusing circumstances surrounding their first meeting. Griffin was a more serious character, and he couldn't resist the draw he felt towards Cosy.

    I love when the 2 main characters have an age gap, in this instance Cosy is 22 and Griffin 33. Not what I would consider a major age difference, although at times throughout the story the differences in their life experiences were glaringly obvious. Griffin is a successful man with a wealth of business experience and is very comfortable finance wise ( he's TOTALLY loaded! ). Cosy is just starting out career wise and every dollar counts.

    A bit more drama in the second half than what I was expecting. Although the major drama to the plot didn't blow me away with originality it was still an overall fun, solid read.

    Cosy and Griffin are an interesting couple. Mainly because they are just so different. The premise of this story was witty and amusing however it didn’t really follow through for me. I can’t explain why except I felt there was some fun to be had with Cosy working in a adult store and Griffin being an ultra conservative business man. In the end this wasn’t as much fun as I thought it might be. Still an enjoyable read just didn’t hit the heights expected when I read the blurb.

    Griffin Mills is everything and so much more.
    Being a Mills brother it was a given that he would be hot and steamy and fit and sexy and... well you get the idea.
    Cosy is a little firecracker and is the perfect match for Griffin.

    Everything about this series makes you want more and this book does not disappoint!

    I enjoyed this one, but I didn't love it as much as other books I have read by this author. I wasn't in love with either of the main characters, though they were likeable enough. It was probably a little bit too long for my liking, but I guess there is quite a lot happening overall in the story as well.

    I don't have much to say, I'm in my best review writing form right now lol. Overall it was a good book, just not a fave of mine.

    A wonderful contemporary romance. I loved griffin and Cosy’s Story. I could not put this book down until I found out what was going to happen to this couple before they reached their HEA. I hope that Cosy’s sister will have her own story. Looking forward to reading more in this series

    Book 4 in the Shacking Up series, this has been a favorite series from the start (though I somehow missed book 3 *runs off to 1-click). While there are some mentions of earlier characters and events, and some slight crossover, you don’t need to have read the previous books in the series to enjoy this.

    An opposites attract kind of story, Cosy is a poor college student working at an adult toy shop to pay the bills—and yes, the setup is pretty funny, but there’s far more to the story than that. With a little bit of wanderlust, Cosy has taken time off from college occasionally to travel wherever the winds take her, and though she may be young, she’s more of a grown-up when it counts than a lot of people I know. At more than a decade older, Griffin comes from money, and is a Harvard grad. He’s settled into his job working in his family’s business, and rarely does anything without a plan, though thanks to an ex, he has his moments of vulnerability when it comes to women. He’s only in Vegas for a few months working on a project, she’s only there finishing up her degree and than who knows where she may be. Figuring out how these two are going to be together added tension to the story and helped keep me turning those pages.

    I liked that Griffin is in his thirties and that they take their time getting together. Be warned, when they do get together, it’s all kinds of hot, whew! I also really liked that when there were bumps in the relationship (and some of them were pretty surprising), Cosy reacted but then took her time to think things through. Her reactions to the events themselves made sense to me, and it also made sense that she’d be careful and cautious after getting hurt, even when what happened wasn’t intentional or Griffin’s fault.

    While the story has many funny moments, it never passed that invisible line of too over the top for me, and the author did a nice job balancing out the humor with a little angst and plenty of heat. While most of the story revolves around Cosy and Griffin, there are a few secondary characters around, including Cosy’s sister, Nevah. I wasn’t quite sure about Nev at first—she’s not a character I have much in common with—but her heart is in the right place, and by the end, I was intrigued enough to hope she eventually gets her own hea.

    Very, very funny and very, very hot, with a little heartbreak to keep the balance, this was a fast, engaging read for me, and a great addition to the series. 5 stars

    Cosy and Griffin meet at the adult toy store where Cosy works when Griffin wins the embarrassing task of getting supplies for a friend's bachelor party. When the truth is revealed will Cosy be gone for good or will Griffin be a pro at making up???

    This may be my favourite of the Shacking Up series, it's romantic and funny with just the right amount of drama and is guaranteed to be an enjoyable read! I love Helena Hunting's work and am looking forward to Lincoln's story!
